Oh Crap

Kate McGarrigle is dead.

You know you're getting old when the most interesting part of the newspaper is the obits. Still, this feels premature. She was only in her sixties; cancer.

Sister of Anna, ex-wife of Loudon Wainwright III, mother of Rufus and Martha Wainwright.
